Using the OpenDRI tool to track and measure climate data
Having open climate and disaster data are important for disaster risk management. The OpenDRI Index tracks and measures the availability of disaster risk data at a country by looking at datasets such as digital elevation, population, infrastructure, records of hazard events or flood maps. While the index does not have a gender focus, it nonetheless provides insights on the state of disaster data openness of a country.
