Using gender to measure acute coronary syndrome

To measure gender and its association with risk factors in patients with premature acute coronary syndrome, researchers at McGill University developed an index by using principal component analyses and logistic regression to determine the association between gender, sex, and cardiovascular risk factors among patients with premature acute coronary syndrome. This study investigated acute coronary syndrome patients aged 55 and below in Canada, the United States, and Switzerland.
