Implementing a gender mainstreaming approach in agricultural data collection

Development data organizations have a responsibility to cultivate a gender-equitable environment. The Global Open Data for Agriculture and Nutrition initiative outlined a gender mainstreaming approach for the global open agricultural data community. The approach acknowledged gender differences and biases in data collection, while outlining goals of having greater institutional participation of women.
