Using electronic immunization registry data
Centralized and digitized data on immunization paves the way for greater timeliness of data collection on immunization rates and it enables data-driven policies on health care provisions. A growing number of countries have embraced electronic immunization registries (EIRs) that enable data-driven decision-making. While gender is not a specific goal of EIRs, EIRs have the capacity to collect demographic information of the population.
