Transfer school data to education management information systems

To collect better data on education, such as education enrollment and outcomes, UNESCO published the Operational Guide to using EMIS for monitoring SDG 4 (Quality Education). One of the elements includes transferring data from school management information systems (SMIS) to education management information system (EMIS) based on unique IDs for each student and teacher. Additionally, the guide also includes a national registry of students’ academic record and performance aligned with student’s biodata and socioeconomic data by transferring SMIS to EMIS. So far, this has been implemented in Mongolia and Fiji.
