Training female enumerators on gender-sensitive surveys or survey modules
Household surveys such as the Demographic and Health Survey (DHS) and the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS) collect sensitive information on gender-based violence and reproductive health. To ensure trust between surveyors and women respondents, it is important to train women enumerators in collecting gender-sensitive information. MICS and DHS have been training women enumerators as part of their standard protocol.
