Integrating “Meaningful Connectivity” into household surveys

Currently, indicators on ICT focus on internet and mobile access and usage– while these indicators are important, they do not paint the full picture on internet connectivity. The Alliance for Affordable Internet introduces meaningful connectivity, which entails regular internet use, enough data, and fast connection. In addition, the Alliance for Affordable Internet introduced a household module on meaningful connectivity, which can also integrate a gender perspective.
