Developing a specialized survey on femicides

When countries lack the capacity to utilize traditional survey data collections, civil society groups can take the lead on developing specialized surveys on femicides. The Femicide Census in the United Kingdom was developed by civil society with the mission to raise awareness of femicides, provide resource for academics, journalists and practitioners, and to pave the way for policies that reduce violence against women and girls.
