Collecting data on children’s time use from a gender lens

There is an existing gap in understanding time use amongst household members. To address children’s time use, UNICEF and IAEG-GS are working towards developing a standardized household survey module and a corresponding set of indicators on children’s time use. These tools will build an understanding of what girls and boys are doing on their day-to-day life, which provides insights on their wellbeing and developmental growth.
