Meet Hanna Nussair

Hanna Nussair is the Communications and Advocacy Associate with Data2X. Before Data2X, she worked with Women for Women International as a Communications Officer, leading social media campaigns to promote women’s economic and social power in conflict affected regions. Most notably, she developed WfWI’s digital crisis strategy during the 2021 Afghanistan crisis. Through her work, she has been able to work with women in Iraq, Ukraine, Ethiopia, Syria, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Nigeria, and more. Prior to this, she did grassroots advocacy work for the 2020 U.S. presidential elections and developed anti-human trafficking campaigns in the state of Florida. She received her Master of Human Rights with a concentration in the rights of women and girls from the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey School of Public Affairs in May 2022. She received her BA in Communication with minors in Political Science and Global Studies at Florida Gulf Coast University.
